I was just getting ready to research Chajaeam at Soyosan National Park for an upcoming story - I hiked there today - this site may come in handy. Thanks for the timely link.

Oh, display problems abound - the top graphic doesn't appear on my Mac.

Marmot, are you kidding me? The Vatican website is a thing of beauty.

Are we talking about the same Vatican site? The one with the tan parchment background image and the brown text (occassionally black)?

I second Dave's comment. Meanwhile, the site on temples has some display problems, and I don't think its well-laid out. Still, it's much appreciated by this reader. Thank you, Marmot!

While this country is more hospitable to irrational and superstitious quack Christianity than even red state America (its point of origin), I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is actually a native Anti-Christian Union" on the web.

Thank you for the link. It is very nice.

I must really agree with Dae Han. I've never run into so many alleged Christian churches that are nothing more than a den of thieves here in Seoul. One revision badly needed is an revision of how churches are a granted tax-exempt status since this really seems to draw chiselers.

Korean buddhism is an anomally compared with other buddhist sects, it really has very little to do with traditional buddhism- you rarely hear about tibetan buddhists embezzling money, but Koreans have rules for themselves and rules for other people, this double standard also applies to discrimination- I'm not a racist "Go home you ^*%ing Yankee", "you don't like Korea?" GO home racist...etc...
