According to Ye’ Olde Chosun, the Korean cable station m.net has caused a shit storm by compiling a list of Korea’s 10 most beautiful women. The 10 lovely lasses were ranked according to an online survey (the results of which can be found –in Korean — here) and expert opinion (Hey! Why didn’t they call me?). The Chosun has the names and the photos, so you be the judge. Unfortunately, Internet partisans of the numerous entertainers who got the proverbial gas face were none too pleased, and are making their opinions known on various Internet bulletin boards. Judging from the poll results, it would seem the selection heavily relied on “expert opinion,” although just how expert the opinions were becomes doubtful anytime you put Mun Geun-young on a list on Korea’s Top 10 beautiful women. Go So-yeong made the cut with only 36 online votes, while Lee Hyo-ri did not with 1,009.
Anyway, m.net’s poll is finished, and unless you’ve got a Korean ID, you probably can’t get involved in any of the online discussions. Your opinions, however, are always welcome at the Marmot’s Hole.
Let your voices be heard.

Kim HeeSun is too calculating and manipulating. You will be lucky if you can keep a wallet around her. She will take your wallet with pants.
MunGunyoung is too babish. I like my woman kicking my head once in a while as long as she appologizes right after. Then we make up. You know what I mean.
Hoyri looks lost; she doesn’t know what to do. Evidently she cannot make up her mind; she has many boyfriends. No big fish, yet. No mulla dollar potbelly ????????.
HanGain looks too smart, headstrong and independent. Too westernized. She will slap you around and never apologizes. You know the type(b**).
I will settle for Eugene again. Kicks a little but overall gives good ride. Always positive and smiling. Yep, she is my type.
Eugene came in the second place but for me she deserves the first place. A beautiful face.
She used to be a member of top female trio, SES.
She is the only one who made a successful transition from a singer to an actor. I have seen her act and I am impressed.
Her face should represent Korea - innocent and beautiful.
Well, Jun Jihyun’s on the list, so this KA nerd is satisfied, though I wonder how many Hyori fans are gathering with torches and pitchforks?
HyoRi cannot beat EuGene. See the following site.

regardless of which surgically enhanced beauty is better looking than which other surgically enhanced beauty and whether it is fun or it is demeaning to rank them, i think what is more important is that this story underscores what has become a growing problem in korean media lately: the idea that people’s bitching and whining on the internet is actually news whenever it happens.
so people are saying on the internet they don’t like m-net’s top-ten list? so, frickin’ what? shall we start writing news articles detailing why fans of ’star wars’ think the latest trilogy is better than ‘lord of the rings’ and vice-versa?
how about a top-ten list of most under-reported important stories?
For the benefit of those who could not access Korean online poll, here are the online poll results.
1st place: Kim HeeSun (25%)

The rest..Don’t bother. Moo city.
Even among the top contenders, I think Eugene, Hoyri, Gain and maybe Jiwoo can be considered pretty. The rest..MooMoo city.
Maybe my sense of beauty is too westernized having lived in the U.S. for more than 30 years. If you are an asian and you think differently about top contenders, let me hear from you.
Actually you may see a prettier girl on the street. These actresses are from an orphanage, a broken home or from an extremely poor families.
Korean film industry, just like entertainment industry of any country, is run by mob families. Women get f**d(literally) as soon as they enter into these dark world.
Most Korean fathers would not let their daughters enter into this almost-sex-industry. They would not allow it no matter how their daughters and wives ask the permission. Men know what really goes on in those offices of film industry.
Regular Korean women who do not appear on the screen or the magazine cover may be better looking than these for-sale girls. Some really do. And, with no surgery.
Buy Korean!

Finally something newsworthy to talk about over here. The thing that I noticed about article wasn’t who was and wasn’t on it but rather that there was no mention of any attributes below the chin.

what?! do you want to start an arms race in the form of breast implants?!
do men really prefer big and plastic over small but soft?
Baduk,
Wait a second…you mean to tell me that actors, actresses, and musicians are not good role models for our children? Are you also saying that we should not trust these same people as reliable experts to speak out on national policy and influence our political process? Shocking.
You are looking in the wrong place for musicians — there are none there.
Actually this has always bothered me, why does every single thing from Korean websites that require registration of some sort demand a Korean Identity Number(An equivalent to a US SS number?). Well at least all the truely important stuff on the internet (porn and video games). Has no one challenged these requirements as a violation of privacy? Or is it no big deal? Few things in the U.S. require the use an your actual social security number online, unless you are directly dealing with very important matters but even looking at a pair of boobs in Korea requires one.
Nora, I’ll take small and soft anyday. Frankly, fake boobs are a real turn-off for me.
If these actresses really are “from an orphanage, a broken home or from an extremely poor families” I’m willing to adopt them, uh, if I can figure out a way to explain this to my wife…
I’m not sure how to answer your question Nora. Why don’t you post photos of your breasts and your “hip” and we’ll go from there.
HAHAHAHA! hilarious Michael….
although I’ve never seen any that look like that at the orphanage in Incheon…but the next time I go I’ll keep my eyes open for your potential new family member!
And Nora…I think guys just loves breasts, period. Big, small, soft, firm…but there is more below the chin than just breast. Have they made a similar list of the top ten “Momjang” (isn’t that what koreans call it?)?
Kim Hee-seon’s came from a poor family, but they wasted no time in capitalizing on her physical assets. Recall the softcore photo-shoot in Africa, courtesy of her money-minded manager mom? Or, the rumors connected with how she got her Ferrari (and from whom)? I don’t know about any orphanage stories, but Baduk’s not totally off-track, guys.
You know, I prefer an older woman who’s still a beauty, such as Hwang Sine. Of course, there’s a lady with a few scandals of her own
Nora, I agree that the spew of “netizens” is almost never newsworthy, except for us of course! It’s lazy journalism and mainly filler. Maybe Mr. Marmot will post some hot guys for you, if you prefer.
The going rate for a nude photoshoot is advertized to be a million dollars for each of these “beauties”.
Somehow they always advertize it was a unknown Japanese millionaire who put up the money for these girls to take off their clothes. Why always a Japanese? Why always a secret?
I think the actual payoff is a lot less. And, there is no “Japanese millionaire”. It is just a good excuse to make some money before their boobs sag.
How come no Chinese millionaire? No money in China? Or, are the Japanese sex addicts? Enquiring minds want to know.
Baduk - more than a bit of an exaggeration on your part… but a telling one. I find it so interesting how so many Koreans (especially men) assume that all entertainers are whores or whatever. Very medieval (well, Joseon).
For all the troubles in Korean society and the Korean entertainment industry, it’s amusing how Koreans assume the worst of their own institutions. It really has cleaned itself up remarkably. Not perfect, but it is a lot better than it used to be. It’s not the gangster-ish Chungmuro anymore, but publicly listed companies list CJ, MKB, and Sidus.
i’ll tell you what … i’ll take Han Ga-in *hottie* and Mun Geun-young *super hottie* and you can all fight over the rest.
i have a huge problem with beauty contests *cause i’m an ugly bastard* but it’s not so bad when it’s just the face and the comments were about natural beauty. i don’t think it’s too damaging. although it will set standards for cosmetic surgery in korea … but at least they didn’t talk about boobs *which just makes the problem a whole lot worse*
No transsexuals? No transgenders in the Top Ten? What the hell’s going on?! Damn straight there should be protests! This is Korea! We love a man without a penis.
“Eugene, on the other hand, has received praise for reminding fans of Olivia Hussey with her well-formed, prominent forehead and high nose.”
“Eugene” fans know Olivia Hussey???? Is Eugene popular with the Korean Christians as well as the Catholics?
all the crap in Korea, and this is what some people choose to get upset over and raise a stink about?
lame.

good point, jing. but like with many things here, from dealing with the boss to fighting in the street, things are just different here. some people do complain about the privacy, but a lot of people don’t care. the purpose is to ensure that people really are over 18 or 19. with sites selling things it’s to ensure someone really is who they say they are. the information isn’t supposed to be shared, much like with banks or stuff back in the u.s. of a.

well, the problem is that, in addition to it being filler, the views of the raging netizens can easily be at odds with the general public. think of nipplegate. (although thinking of it makes me say ‘ouch’).

i almost certainly would not prefer that.
Nora, chacun a son gout.
Is plastic surgery among Korean women really that common? And I don’t mean just the superstars, but the pretty girls on the street. It would be strange to have a suspicion lying in the back of my mind somewhere whenever I run into a pretty Korean gal, haha.
ray,
lots of girls have eyelid surgery (although lots of people you think might have had it actually didn’t). in fact, it’s so common it’s considered normal here.
nose bridge enhancement and cheekbone reduction are also becoming more and more common. so is liposuction. breast enhancement still isn’t very big (no pun intended).
many people in korea see plastic surgery as no big deal, no bigger deal than, say, getting lasik or having a mole removed: it’s just fixing something that didn’t come out right when you were born. no biggie.
michael

i said i learned french; i didn’t say i remembered it.
so what your saying is that everyone has gout?
They have medicine for that now
No, “to each his or her own.”

Nora, ????????? ?????
thank you for the translation, but i was in fact able to figure it out on my own, with a little help from an on-line french-english dictionary (i had forgotten go??t, which i admit i can’t remember how to pronounce).
“what?! catholics are no longer christian? why wasn??t i informed?! [that was very southern baptist of you ht]”
Do Southern Baptists say things like that? Actually what I said is correct. Catholics are Christian but they are not Korean Christian. I found out a few years ago that Korean Christian is a denomination of Christianity. (The Korean Christian Church) You’ll often hear Koreans say that Catholics are not Christians when they actually mean Catholics are not Korean Christians. Although Korean Catholics are Christians they are not Korean Christians. There are also some Korean people who have become confused and believe Catholics are not Christians.
So anyway…..is Eugene popular with Korean Christians as well as Catholics?
“Chacun a son gout” = “Everyone has his/her own taste” or “To each his/her own” or “Taste is an individual thing” or whatever! True in this case - I go for a woman with a more natural look, as opposed to the clinic makeover look that seems to be the going trend in Korea, at least if one is to believe the accuracy of netizen surveys.
Sorry…Shim Eun-Ha
Christ, Mun Geun Young in that list? Am I the only one who finds her hideous and talentless? I’d chew my own arm off if I woke up next to her and she was lying on it.
Some Korean Christians do not include Catholics as Christians, but as Nora suggested, this can also be the case in the States (especially the Bible Belt), or in other countries. Exclusion is easier for some people than inclusion, I guess. Korean Protestants aren’t exactly one big happy family either, with there being numerous large denominations, plus countless smaller churches (ie 3F of a “villa” with a neon cross) which would seem to be pretty autonomous. I suspect Jesus would be none too amused with such bickering! Anyway, I would be willing to wager that a shared love of sappy TV dramas, K-Pop videos, and tear-jerker ballads bridges the gaps that may devide Koreans on the spiritual front.

some do. some see the catholic church as a giant anti-christian cult.

i’m sorry, i don’t buy that. i think it’s just a mistranslation fo ??????? as ‘christian’ instead of as ‘protestant.’ saying ‘korean christian’ and therefore saying that ‘in korea’ catholics aren’t christian is really quite insulting to catholics. that’s kind of backtracking to excuse a widely perpetrated ignorance in korea, when what we should be doing is saying, ‘hey, this is incorrect.’ it’s as incorrect as saying that in korea blue is green.
“Some Korean Christians do not include Catholics as Christians, but as Nora suggested, this can also be the case in the States”
Nora suggested I was being very Southern Baptist when I asked if Korean Christians had the same opinion as Catholics.
Korean Christians who don not “include” Catholics as Christians must not understand that Catholics are Christian as the sky is blue.
the candu spirit wrote:

my understanding is that it’s mostly southern baptists, not merely folks from the south, although folks in alabama have been known to not consider asian-americans to be americans (gratuitous jab #337).

nope. in fact, jesus is constantly telling me how much korea pisses him off.

one would think and hope so. although what’s on m-net nowadays might give some korean christians (protestant or catholic) a heart attack.
i just realized it looks like i am bashing hardyandtiny for simply stating what is commonly believed in korea.
a thousand apologies, most of them sincere. and for the record, i think you are both very hardy and very tiny. godspeed.

There is nothing to buy and it’s not incorrect. The church name is Korean Christian Church. The people in the congregation are Christian and they call themselves Korean Christian(s). What is the argument?
Sometimes Koreans will make a mistake, in English, and say Catholics are not Christian when they mean to say Catholics are not Korean Christian. The name of the church has unfortunately led SOME Korean people to believe that Catholics are not Christian. What I wrote was correct but you misinterpreted “Korean Christians” as “Christians”.
korean christians?
if there’s an award for the strangest group of people in korea, then korean christians would have it hands down.
i’ve seen these people in action. i’ve had them at my door. i have one of them in my family *my brother-in-law* … they give all their money to the church, they treat everyone like they’re lower than crap. they treat their families even worse.
i had a group of 3 ‘christians’ come and talk to me under the pretext that they wanted to practice a bit of english. however the conversation quickly turned *so fast i nearly got whiplash* to religion … they told me about god, and how god would save me. i had to convert to god. they kept telling me, very bluntly, that christianity was the only religion.
i asked them a question. i said “does god preech tolerance?” they said yes. i said “does god preech respect” they said definitely yes. so i said “good. because i’m buddhist, why don’t you come to my temple. i’ve listened to you talk about christianity, why don’t you come and listen to me about buddhism.”
they told me that buddhism was wrong …
i said “what?” … again, they told me that all other religions were paganism. i would burn in hell.
i said “but you said god is tolerant. wouldn’t god tolerate my being in a different religion?” they said no.
i said “wouldn’t god respect my choice? after all, we have freedom of choice, right?” they said no, you burn in hell if you’re not christian.
… i said i don’t want to be in a religion where you tell me i have choice, as long as it’s your choice.
they were getting fairly agitated at this point, and i could see they weren’t comfortable. they quickly made an excuse to leave.
really, they were so dumb, and ignorant. they preech what they read and think it’s right. no religion should propagate that kind of stupidity. then they demand your money. minimum is 10% of your salary. what does god want money for? he’s omniscient.
is 10% of your money an insurance policy to get you into heaven? if so, then i can give my 10% and be a complete asshole to everyone i know. it’s all ok, because i’ve “bought” my ticket to heaven already.
this is what i think of korean christians. they’re the used car salesmen of the religious world, they don’t care what they do and say, as long as it sells.
hardyandtiny wrote:

so by ‘korean christians’ you do NOT mean ??????? (the group that is commonly but mistakenly, according to me, called ‘christians’ when they should be called ‘protestants’) but a sect/denomination of ???????? okay, then i did misinterpret what you meant.
Sometimes Koreans will make a mistake, in English, and say Catholics are not Christian when they mean to say Catholics are not Korean Christian.
now you’ve confused me again. i though koreans were (mistakenly) saying in english that catholics are not christian when they mean to say that catholics are not protestant (to differentiate them from protestants).
what is the korean term for ‘korean christians’?
The name of the church has unfortunately led SOME Korean people to believe that Catholics are not Christian. What I wrote was correct but you misinterpreted ?橫Korean Christians?? as ??Christians??.
no, i misinterpreted ‘korean christians’ as ‘protestants.’
I would like to take this opprotunity to confess that I once taught English.
Not in a hagwon or university, mind you, but I was indeed paid to teach English.
I taught for 8 months. I taught one of the ladies on the list. I would go to her house and then she would come to mine. A nice arrangement. I’m not telling which one.
I’m sure it had nothing to do with it but she decided she didn’t need to be tutored in English when I got engaged. Oh well. Such sacrifice on my part.
The only juicy detail I’m about to disclose is that she didn’t eat. LIke it was an option or something. She would say “I hardly eat” (??? ?????? ?????? ??? ??? ??????) and that was it.
My experience from conversations in English with Koreans is that when a native Korean speaker says “Christian,” he or she means “Protestant.” ??????? properly means “Christian,” but it seems that it’s usually just taken to denote “Protestantism,” as differentiated from ????????? (”Catholicism”). There is a word for Protestantism in Korean??????but my impression is that it isn’t used very much.
I don’t know how or when or why this usage came to be, but that’s the way it appears to be. And I’m not sure that it necessarily means that Korean Protestants actually consider Catholics to not be Christians. Non-Christians also use ??????? and ????????? when referring to Protestantism and Catholicism respectively.
hardyandtiny: if you mean there’s some monolithic entity called the “Korean Christian Church,” there isn’t. It’d just be one Protestant denomination among a huge plurality of different denominations in Korea….
Anyhow, regarding the original topic of this post, my how tastes change over time. None of these actresses appears to have anything about them like what I would consider to be the “classic” Korean look that at one time would have been considered glamorous. (If you look at Korean travel books or magazines from the 60s, 70s, or even 80sor even many women todayyou’ll quickly see what I mean.) But I guess it’s the same in Hollywood. Compare most popular actresses today to, say, Barbara Stanwyck or Lauren Bacall. And to be completely fair, much the same is true for actors as well: compare any of your latter-day hunks to, say, Clark Gable. (And I’m not as old as you’d think, by the way….)
Nora I don’t speak Korean. I see your point. “Koreans should call themselves protestants not Korean Christians”, but since I can not speak Korean I can’t discuss that. I am telling you what Koreans have told me in English. They explain that they are Korean Christian, and that Catholics are not Korean Christian. It could very well be that the translation should not be “Korean Christian”, but they often use that term to describe thenmselves and their church. I think most Koreans realize Catholics are Christians, and it is just a matter of language, not belief.
…Um, as if it weren’t obvious, I’d take Barbara Stanwyck over, say, Julia Roberts any day (no offense in the extremely improbable chance that she actually happens to be reading this blog).
Most Catholics in Korea are referred to, and are self-described, “chun-joo kyo.”
No? I could be wrong, but seeing as this is what I study, I certainly hope not.
Chun-Joo coming from the historical context of worshipping the great God of the heavens, which itself comes from their not having a missionary be their initial exposure to Christianity (in any form) but rather a Catholic primer that found its way in from China.
Oh, and yes, getting back to the important part.
Jun Jihyun, still hot.
The rest of them? Range from “Eh…” to decent. Eugene has certainly gotten prettier with time. I used to think that Shoo was the pretty one from their group, but the last I saw of her, she looked like she’d gone off the deep end of J pop rebellion, and seemed prety freaky.
Damn! Let’s stay on topic! I’m voting Mina for best below the chin.
It looks like they all got face jobs at the same place.
Sewing and others longing for the “classic Korean look”, check the actress Mun Hee from the late 60s and early 70s. Seems she did something like 10 movies a year at the height of her career.
Is that the “classic Korean look”??? She looks like a man in half of the photos.
okay on topic
?橫Christ, Mun Geun Young in that list? Am I the only one who finds her hideous and talentless???
I??d ride Mun Geun-young like there was no tomorrow.
I??d ride Mun Geun-young like there was no tomorrow.
That’s disconcerting.
Well, I figured people would be wondering what the heck I meant by a “classic” Korean look. I’m really bad with Korean actors’ and actresses’ names, but after a bit of digging, I thought of the TV actress ????? as an example. (Choe Myeong-gil, but I don’t know if that’s how she romanizes her name.) She played ??? ????? (Empress Myeongseong) in the eponymously named drama, and also ????? ????? the queen, the wife of ???? (Taejong) (sorry, nora, I’m sure the queen had her own name, but I don’t know what it was) in the drama ?????? ????? (Tears of the Dragon) a few years back.
I’m quite sure she’s not everyone’s idea of glamour and beauty (no offense, Ms. Choe, on the only slightly less improbable chance that you’re reading this than Ms. Roberts), but it seems to me that it wasn’t so long ago that many actresses had a look vaguely similar to hers.
I don’t know about Mun Hee: that’s a pretty unflattering photo!
Here I am, a serious student of the finer points of Korean grammar, posting a link to a photo of an actress! But I’m just trying to illustrate my point….
Ah, well with credit to Ms. Mun, her B W photos down at the bottom of the linked page are a lot better than that colour one at the top. Geez, it must have been her ????? ???? photo or something.
Most Catholics in Korea are referred to, and are self-described, ?橫chun-joo kyo.??
Sorry, Shawn: you’re entirely right. I completely forgot the word ???????. Catholicism has a very interesting history in Korea, since it was initally not introduced from outside, but rather through the self-study of a group of yangban who were disillusioned with the Confucian status quo.
Well, it had to come from outsidefrom China, to be precisebut I meant, it wasn’t introduced through external conversion.
“That’s disconcerting”
Well, you have a close-up of Scotty down in engineering, and then the next scene is two hours later and Kirk’s down on the planet’s surface trying to save the world. Whaddya think everyone’s been doing for the last two hours?
“Eu Gene”
how far is this going to go?
Is Mun Geun Yeong even of legal age anywhere except Canada?
where is the chic from Jewelry
Park Jung Ah
man shes hot!!!!!
“Is Mun Geun Yeong even of legal age anywhere except Canada? ”
ID cards are a dime-a-dozen. You have to analyze the teeth if you want the precise age. Visual analysis alone puts her at 22, at least.
The best looking Korean woman is Kim Ha-nuel

Haha, off topic, but I’m amazed how much traffic the marmot is getting now and just how many people are visiting. Back in the day (When he still had those riot police up as the top image), it would be rare to get a dozen comments per post let alone 70 over such a frivilous topic.
Worryingly absent from this list is ??????? Lee Gi-yong, the “red cap” girl in the SK gas station ads. This girl is smoking hot. If you ever use the Hongdae subway station, you see her in a huge billboard ad just after walking down the stairs in the main entrance.
Clearly she’s absent from this list because Koreans place a higher emphasis on cute/innocent/friendly than on the hot/sexy/bitchy look towards which Westernised audiences tend to gravitate. I’m not saying that Korean guys don’t like their sexy - but Park SooJin, Han Gain, and Mun Gunyoung wouldn’t come close to a modelling/acting contract in Western countries.
I asked a Korean colleage why he likes a particular star who I consider to be repellant. “She looks like someone I’d like to meet”. Personally my tastes in beauty could be defined by a similar sentence but the last word would be made up of four different letters.
Jing, with all due respect, this is hardly frivolous: this is serious stuff! This is right up there with such lofty subjects as, say, the study of Middle Korean or the history of the Late Joseon Dynasty.
Anyhow, finally found a contemporary actress who sort of has the look I was thinking of: Han Eun-jeong
Han Eun-jeong (???????). (Props to me for finding the most flattering yet tasteful photo I could of her!)
Kirk: Beam me up, Scotty.
Scotty: Captain, I can’t. I can not reach.
Kirk: What are you dickering up there? Monsters are about to get me. You MUST beam me up right now!
Scotty: Miss Mun is here. And, I am busy. Besides, this is my lunch hour.
…
(at Court Marshall)
Kirk: Scotty, what can you add to defend yourself?
Scotty: Mr. Sulu paid me to do it.
Kirk: What? You mean Mr. Sulu has my part?
Scotty: Yessir, what you have inside your pants in Mr.Sulu.
Kirk: No wonder it is small and limp. What’s wrong with these oriental men? Can they just live with what they are born with?
Scotty: He paid 200 ducats for the exchange that was executed during transport.
Kirk: You know how much my dick is worth to me? Space alien chicks, they DIG my dick. All starship enterprise difficulties were solved by my charm(=my dick).
..
Sulu: Well, now I have the world-class dick. What can I do with it? I will test it on Miss Mun. (Dial..) Miss Mun, this is Sulu. Yep, the Jap. Can you come up to my room? I got Captain Kirk’s dick? No? Why not? ???????? ????????? Aigoo!
…Ahem, continuing from my previous comment (#72), I’ll just continue with my G-rated commentary, and mention the late, great Lee Eun-ju (???????; another tasteful photo, this one in black and white, even!). Alas, the fact that she has such a natural look about her probably speaks volumes about the way she felt working in the entertainment industry. Oh dear, it’s sad thinking about her again….
Jing — thanks for noticing, sir. Thing is, it’s usually the most frivalous posts that get the most comments. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course
Gohyunjung ajumma MANSAE!!!!!!
??????? ????????…you’ve presented your case well.
After perusing ???????’s photos I have added her to my personal list. Well done.

dbc,
Thanks for the post. Some did get lots of surgery and some didn’t. Any average-looking Korean girl can be fixed up to be a beauty. With a boob job and a hip job, she can even be a world class glamour girl - a super model.
It is a great world!
More of Miss Eu Gene here.

the average girls getting cosmetic surgery can’t compete with the above average girls getting cosmetic surgery, the latter who are the ones going into movies. i’m sure the before and after pics can use more information- and i’ve seen better before pics of some of thos celebs- but they do give a good idea of what those celebs look like before surgery if that is the case.
I would vote for any of those finalists. Two are definate doggies and three others are close to needing dog biscuits too. I’ve seen better looking women on Hooker Hill. Oh wait, it was Korean guys who did the voting and they prefer naive plain jane virgins. Now it makes sense.
Meant to say “I would NOT vote for any of those finalists”.
