Blogger covers Gangwon brush fires

Brian in Sokcho has been doing some good citizen journalism with the brush fires out in Gangwon Province. He may have some more coverage later today.

    I’m going to miss that place–it’s my favorite sightseeing place in Korea so far . . . hard to believe it’s gone.

    i’m stunned and dismayed that most of naksansa is gone … i used to live in sokcho and i visited naksansa regularly. it was *still is* my favourite temple in korea. i consider myself buddhist, so it’s a great loss …

    this is a very sad moment for me … and for all koreans.
