Korean kids’ diets can be more like American diets. This is a good thing. But remember: Koreans kids are making a CHOICE to buy and ingest American crap. Nobody’s forcing this on them.

Hey you guys stop putting down Krispy Kreme. The Krispy Kreme “Original Glazed” is THE donut, and just melts in your mouth if you eat it fresh out of the oven. Is no comparison to that Dunkin’ Donuts shit. May Krispy Kreme live long and prosper in Korea.

oranckay– It’s not just because you haven’t lived in the US since Reagan, it’s also because you didn’t live in the South. Krispy Kreme has been the doughnut throughout the South since 1937. It’s only been since 1996 that they’ve expanded outside of their regional base in the Southeast.

Where I’m from, in North Carolina the home of Krispy Kreme, a doughnut is a Krispy Kreme.

Maybe it’s because I haven’t lived in the US since Reagan, but I never heard of the guys. And frankly homegrown, non-chain dounut stores are always the best.

It’s been a while since I’ve back in to the States, but it seems that a lot of these chains start to look overseas when their domestic futures start looking bleak. Take KFC or Dunkin Donuts and Baskin-Robbins - they all SEEMED to be on the decline last time I was Stateside.

The $24,000,000 question at my office is where these Krispy Kreme outlets will be located.

I remember my first time trying them. I was flying out of LA and had some for breakfast. I also had some left-over cheesecake from the CHeesecake Factory that I needed to finish off before I left so I had that as well. Predictably, I ended up throwing up in the bathroom at Burbank airport right bfore my flight.
