You know, nulji maripkan, you can be quite perplexing at times. Since obviously you took offense at the fact that I criticized "Koreans," (i.e., "the koreans are the real wacky ones here, huh") allow me to point out -- just in case the hangeul script on the cartoon didn't give it away -- that the Hankook Ilbo is a Korean paper. In fact, I challenge you to find one Korean paper of any political persuasion that didn't criticize what these people did. I hope you don't mean to suggest that the individuals in question are somehow "representative" of the general population of the Republic of Korea, because some might misunderstand your criticism above as meaning just that.

As for Iraq, well, ordinarily, I'd take the time to debate the merits and demerits of the Iraq War, but seeing how you've already boiled it down to a question of race -- unsurprising, given the tone of the criticism above -- I gather such an effort would fail to be constructive. Perhaps it is a question of "american patriots" liking to kill brown people, although one might question the consistency of such an argument, given the firebombings of German cities during WWII, the mass slaughter perpetrated against our own kind during the U.S. Civil War, and the bombing campaigns in the Balkans during the 1990s, but hey, what do I know? I'm just a dumb white guy.
