My provider upgraded my server this morning, so things were a little funny with this blog during the first half of the day. I woke up to find a couple of posts missing and that I was unable to access my site administrator page, after which I went into a state of sheer panic. Everything has been fixed — and let me give a shoutout to the support people of Utah-based Visionhead Technologies, who are really on the ball — but the comments that were posted earlier today have been lost. I offer apologies to my readers.
