24-year-old multiracial singer Sonya is revealing her supple nude body.
Big Pool Entertainment, the same company that produced Hwang Hye-yeong’s and Gwak Jin-yeong’s nude projects, said it would begin mobile service of nude photos of Sonya starting Thursday.
Sonya, who is called “Black Fever,” has christened her nude project, “Defiance and Passion,” In her nude photos can be found the passion of a woman who is overcoming both a difficult family environment and how society looked down upon her for being multiracial. Wimps.
Big Pool said, “We pushed this project after judging that Sonya possessed an attraction that harmonized both Eastern and Western beauty… In particular, her body is so great that the term ‘Black Pearl’ wouldn’t be too much.”
In case the “Black Fever” and “Black Pearl” labels didn’t give it a way, Sonya is half black. And apparently, she knows how to convert her exotic charms into cash:
Meanwhile, Sonya said, “The fact is that most multiracial people can already feel the stereotypes and curiosity all around them, so I worried a lot that this nude project might work against multiracial people. But as I will not be able to lose this ‘multiracial singer’ tag that I’ve always been stuck with, I acceded to this nude project thinking I would try to sublimate those problems with my charm and attraction.”
Yeah, baby. To give Sonya her props, though, she’s had to deal with more than her fair share of hardships — the difficulties of being of visibly mixed descent in Korea aside, her U.S. soldier dad went back to the States as soon as she was born, and her mother died of breast cancer when she was 11. She was raised by her grandmother, and she worked in a factory while attending a girls high school at night. She dreamed of becoming a famous singer so she could meet her father, a dream that came true in 2003 when she traveled to the U.S. and met up with the guy — cute reunion pic.

Some of the sports papers have also run a nipple-fuzzed taste of her nude collection — interestingly enough, the online edition of the Chosun Ilbo, obviously in a daring mood today (see post below), was running the non-edited version of the pic when I came into work this morning. They have since removed it. Wimps.

I know a half African-American, half Korean girl who grew up in Korea and it was hard for heresince they are kind of racist over there towards Koreans who are half African American. When the girl rushed my business fraternity (co-ed), alot of our Korean brothers spoke up for her saying she must have overcome alot of adversity over in Korea.
