Not that I judge socio-political trends by the OhMyNews reader comments section, but on OMN’s piece on today’s (and tomorrow’s) anti-American protests, of the 13 members comments and 41 non-member comments so far, most were quite negative. In particular, quite a few Netizens seemed upset about the way in which the tragic deaths of Mi-seon and Hyo-sun, killed two years ago tomorrow in an auto accident involving an USFK armored vehicle, were being used for political purposes. Others pointed out that the two-year anniversary of the North-South naval battle (which left several South Korean sailors dead) is also coming up soon, and they were curious as to whether the same protesters would remember them as well.
And some are just sick of the protests.

Good post. We have to remember that despite all the noise made by the media and the activists there are still a large number of Koreans who have some perspective, even among the younger ones.
It?쨈s time some of us attended these troop removal rallies and carried signs like the following:
US Out of Korea: Let the ingrates pay for their own defense
Kim Jong Il - He can lead you, too!
