Living in Korea Test Site Up!!!

living_in_korea_logoThe hardworking folk over at Living on the Planet have completed work on their new blogging engine, which means we can get to work on Living in Korea. A test site is already up, and once we get some contents posted, we can move the thing over to its permanent site this weekend. So, for those wanting to participate in this grand project, you can sign up at http://www.livingontheplanet.com/htsrv/register.php. You might want to shoot me an e-mail (or leave a comment below) indicating whether you’d like to serve as an administrator as well. Once you register, one of the administrators (which I guess at this point is me) will have to get you set up — I’ll send you an e-mail once I do that with the login address. Also, even if you don’t want to contribute to this thing but would like your blog added to Living in Korea’s aggregator, just let me know and I’ll add you on.

Oh, two notes — the photos are not working yet (but should be in working order soon) and as I noted above, this isn’t the permanent URL — we should be moving to www.livinginasia.com/kr this weekend. A nice feature of this project, BTW, is that we can write posts simultaneously for Living in Korea and Living in Asia (should be working soon), which should lead to more interaction with bloggers in other Asian countries.

UPDATE: For those wanting more information on what administrative duties entail, check out Living on the Planet’s membership info page.

Count me in, Robert. Consider my “beat” to be business, popular entertainment, and eating in Korea.

Please add my blog to the aggregator and consider me an occasional contributor.

Marmot - I also registered (as hole64) and would like to contribute in anyway I can.

You also might want to define what the responsibilities of an administrator are so people can know if they want to take on that responsibility or not.

I’ve enrolled too, under my usual handle and, now that I’ve re -(kick)started by own blog (witha little nudge from KimcheeGI, I’ll weigh in from time to time, especially on Korean legal and economic issues, particularly FDI and the “Hub” with occasional forays into “feature” sort of stuff, like my most recent write-up of combat golf.

Totally interested, tried to use the sign up at the livingplanet membership site but I got a delivery failure. I’d like to sign up for contributor, aggregator and admin as well.
