Fighter jet accidentally drops bomb on train station parking lot

Call the civic groups! A fighter jet mistakenly dropped a BDU33 practice bomb on a parking lot near Ungcheon Station, Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday. Nobody was hurt, but the bomb left a 7cm wide, 20 cm long hole in the parking lot’s asphalt, and two nearby cars were scratched. There were six or seven people waiting to take the 4:23 train and 10 railway employees at the station when the bomb was dropped. No doubt, they are emotionally scarred from the experience. No word on miscarriages suffered by nearby livestock, but I’m sure there were at least a few.

Expect to see angry civic and students groups flocking to the site of the atrocity, OhMyNews cameramen plastering photos of the destruction all over their site for the next week and the Hankyoreh issuing angry editorials about military arrogance and the pain inflicted on the Korean people by the system of national division.

Oh wait, perhaps not — the fighter in question was a ROKAF F-5.

I’m getting very tired or your racist and biased hate screeds against the peaceful F-5s!

It’s a good plane and a decent plane and it never would have done what you say it did.
    I don’t believe it!
    Not for a moment.

I bet that poor plane was neglected and it was just trying to get some attention. He didn’t mean anything by it. Now quit picking on the F-5. Besides, I have seen F-4 Phantoms do far worse and you never said a word.

I can’t believe they are using depleted uranium bombs on rail parking lots!
