Robert, I know you wear hanbok. (Don't understand it, but I know it.) Not only is that fact in the title to this very weblog entry, but also you've commented on it in the past. That reference was a sly dig at *you*, sir, but offered in the spirit of good fun.

By the way, can you drop me an e-mail?

I would also suggest you tone down your Chosun Ilbo comments. They do pay you.

Dude, I can't make my comments about the Chosun any more tame. Especially considering that I agree with 75% of their stuff I link to on this blog.

You know, Marmot,

I have a lot of respect for you and your skills. However, wearing garb that almost nobody wears anymore is not going to make you Korean. You see, one of these days, you are going to do something to piss off the powers that be in South Korea and your hanbok and Korean language skills will not be worth two cents on your way to the airport. Eventually, as with all whites in Korea who try to go native, this will happen. Attracting attention to yourself is not going to slow the process.

I would also suggest you tone down your Chosun Ilbo comments. They do pay you.

Brendon, I've worn nothing but a hanbok for the last five or six years, although I occasionally sport a Mongolian shirt that the Mrs. bought for me in the Olde Country.

I like the Cheong Wa Dae PR-picture.
Ah, my thoughtful president is watching out of the window...
a Hanbok looks more peacefully than a pilot flight suit. Maybe (acutally impeached) President Roh should send President Bush a wonderful Hanbok as a present.
