i won’t let my wife hang out with ex-pat koreans. all they do is gossip and try to start trouble in other people’s relationships. they have gone out of their way to make her life hell because she is younger and prettier and married to an officer. it’s amazing how petty they are.

It?쨈s a business between you two, but I think, the table-cloth between you both is already cut to pieces. Sugar Shin: Thank you for your comments. yes, my wife and I operate on two speeds, but we do practice before the rituals. Interestingly, my family gave me a chance recently to lead a family memorial service. All commented I did well.

Shin Jong-il: Not only are you banned from my site irrevocably, but, begging the Marmot’s forgiveness, let me tell you, in good American fashion, that I hold you in contempt as a human being. Not only have you insulted me by raising your spurious claims on another person’s site, not mine, but you have insulted a person who cannot defend herself online. I don’t mind if you’re rude to me,. Actually, I prefer that sort of honesty from one with such a lack of propriety. You are exactly the type of educated person, no matter what ethnicity or nationality, whom I despise. You use your intelligence to sow discontent and misery.

“FOB” means “Fresh Off the Boat.” Hardly a phrase used by Caucasians only. I’ve heard Asians of all different backgrounds use it regularly to make fun of themselves when screwing up English or with what they’re waying.

Needless to say I don’t get all the jokes…

FOB = Fresh Off the Boat. That is how the Orange County Koreans I’ve met make the distinction between Korean who act according to Korean customs and Koreans who act according to American customs.

FOB has been applied to every immigrant group to come to America.

One more thing, during the LA riots, I called the Korean Language radio station, KBLA am, and offered to open my home to any Korean family burned out and homeless from the riots. They aired that offer and the offer for me to help guard their homes or businesses. I had a very meanacing looking shotgun configured as a hand cannon.

You look really small when you hide behing a fake name, a computer, and your racism.
