Is it too late to consider castration?

On a related, but much less humorous note, police in Pusan have requested arrest warrants for seven individuals, including a North Korean defector, fire department official, and university student on charges related to sexual assault and child prostitution. The North Korean defector, 36 year old Mr. Lim, is charged with luring two runaway girls — one of whom was 14 years old — to his home by promising to buy them cell phones, and then proceeding to rape them six times. The fire department official, 51 year old Mr. Kim, met 14 year old Ms. Jeong via Internet chatting, after which he gave her W70,000 to engage in sexual relations. That little violation of Korea’s child prostitution laws also occurred six times.

Thank God Korea’s Commission on Youth Protection is looking to adopt its own version of Megan’s Law here. And I’ll say it again, just in case OhMyNews and The National Campaign for Eradication of Crimes by U.S.Troops in Korea didn’t hear me the first time — if you really want to protect Korean women, stop worrying about the U.S. military bases and get to work cleaning up those Internet chat rooms, because you’re much more likely to get raped by some guy you meet on the ‘Net than you are hanging out in front of Camp Casey.

one only needs to venture out to your local red light district in seoul to see that child prostitution is rampant in south korea. families will offer their daughters up to work off family debt sometimes. there is one near chongnyangni subway stop behind the lotte department store that employed nothing but underage girls and that isn’t anywhere near a military base. it is also the tip of the iceberg of the number of places in seoul that employ underage girls.

I’m not going to bash Korea because of its prostitution (which I have no problem with, as long as you keep the kiddies out) or because rapes occur (rapes occur everywhere). It just gets to me when certain groups and/or media outlets try to paint prostitution and sex crimes as USFK problems, because anyone who reads the papers (or shit, leaves his or her house past dark) knows that’s not even close to being the case.

It never ceased to amaze me how grown, mature men could look at me with a straight face and say:

“Prostitution in Korea is only for the US military.”

My correct name is Sugar Shin, Mr. dda.
The sexual exploitation of children is condemnable and disgusting. Have you really thought, that I would side with this fuckers, because they?쨈re Korean men??? I guess, the new Kim Ki-duk movie “Samaritarian Girl” deals with this topic. Besides the rape case above, high -school girl prostitution is now “en vogue” in Korea, following the trend from Japan. I can?쨈t understand this damned shit, selling the body to horny old suckers to pay the mobile phone bills etc.

BTW, thank you, for your high esteem of my personality and character that you seems to have about me, Mr. dda (sarcasm).

I will tell you why, poiboy. Korea is the second most materialistic society I have ever seen, second to Hong-kong China. Morality in Korea is based on how much power you wield and how much influence you generate. Both are used for financial gain. This is exactly what the girls are doing and the chance of a Korean male being prosecuted for statuatory rape is almost zero.

the legal age of consent in japan is 12, not sure about korea.. however.. paying a 12 year old for sex is illegal in japan.. but she can give it to you for free legally.

a 12 year old is still a child and is easily manipulated. That is legalized rape of a minor basically. Pedophiles and asiaphiles find it refreshing, freeing to do what they want as well as every other native scum. They are scum because they feel it is okay to do that to someone else’s child and objectify, sexualize, and justify it because its the very onset of puberty but most of these sneaky monsters do not want their OWN children exploited this way. hypocritcal double standards and these people will ruin, pervert, sacrifice, and corrupt other lives as long as it is not their own because they either convince themselves or believe their deserving of humanity and dignity and the object is seen as expendable, subhuman and somehow deserving of filth. The real truth is it is a reflection of the perpetrator and its depravity and trash not the victim but they are too sorry and evil to even recognize it. Castration? yes

Well, the National Assembly just passed a law redefining prostitution and pimping… basically reclassifying prostitutes as victims and putting the brunt of the law on the pimps. No signs of the situation in the red light districts changing yet, though.

Whats really bad is even though there are laws regarding sexual exploitation such as here in the u.s. there are many people and many americans who feel and believe otherwise in their heart. There are many people who believe they should have or have a right to do as they please and will find deviant ways of acting it out, if it is molesting a stepdaughter or trying to isolate some other victim. Many times these people are acting out a fantasy because they felt rejected by females so someone they can overpower is easy prey. Furthermore these same people will and can appear normal to everyone else and will even vehemenently protect their own from the very evils they subject others to. It is a selfish projection of their sexual side onto an ‘other’, usually this sexual projection has a monstrously repugnant quality buried underneath as these people’s true sexual pleasure is derived from humiliating and sadistically lowering someone spiritually or emotionally more evolved than themselves as they impose on those around them to fulfill every petty or monstrous desire. These monsters believe whatever they feel and whoever they feel towards is the deserved object of wrath, there is a repugnant lack of consideration. Hence, in conclusion it is a mixture of unbridled sexual perversion, malice, and power. Make no mistake, laws do not change the human heart and this has been the american way. The worst sexual crimes i have seen in america have a very dishonorable twist when it is aimed at subjugating a ethnic group believed not worshipping american superiority, primarily northeast asians are a juicy target for some depraved, hateful and self-righteous. I have a friend who was raped by an african-american man, she is japanese/korean and this man was married to a philipino woman who was a pale reflection of an asian. Anyways, she has a pretty strong asian identity and prefers to not date outside of her race. This was seen as an affront as this person was the type that believed whatever appealed to him he deserves to own even another culture and if he doesn’t like it he will tarnish or crush it, he reeked of western superiority and judgement. He did nothing but brutally, contemptively, and condescendingly harass her. The police did nothing. She even tried to confront him and he twisted it and THREATENED her with harassment and to stay away from his family!!! The man was evil because she did not care or threaten her family, he knew why she was trying to threaten her but he did this to further boost his overblown sick ego! This person even convinced themselves this person wanted it to boost his ego, when confronted by the police he resorted to describing her as someone who had a crush on him which the police bought as he hobnobbed with the police! The police were also extemely insensitive to her and seemed to enjoy taunting her. This happened in Atlanta, Georgia where she had a nervous breakdown and had to be hospitalized, she is undergoing extensive counseling as he is off clean. There is so much depravity going on right under the nose and even society knows it but does not care because it is MATERIALISTIC, POWER-HUNGRY, and MONEY-ORIENTED. That’s right, I’m referring to america, before you criticize others, look at your own damn garbage is in your own land and stinks to high heaven.

There’s a new movie coming out by kim ki-duk called Samaria that deals with this topic of internet dating/prostitution in a unique way. At least thats my perception based on the review in todays Korea Herald page nine. Title: ‘Samaria’ a tale of prostitutioin and forgiveness.

FYI- Kim ki-duk directed Nappun Namja (Bad Guy)

Come on pooper, had you ever been out of Korea would realise that austentatious displays of wealth and very gauche here. Middle class native born Canadians drive Hondas and Dodges. The Chinese are so brand conscious they pay silly amounts for C-Class Mercedes. Same goes for the houses. Asians build monster houses right to the property lines. Houses in Point Grey are very conservative.

You?쨈re a hopeless case. Don?쨈t call me poiboy or pooper or anything else. Many of the “angry expat brigade” (copyright by shin jong il)dislike, despise or deliberately hate me and my comments, but they have at least the right portion of politeness and manners to adress me by my netname. It?쨈s rude, bold and simply impudent to adress somebody with someone else?쨈s ID without further explanations or argumentation. I don?쨈t know anything about your seemingly troubled realtionship with poiboy (pooper), but you should cure your paranoia.

“Middle class native born Canadians”- do you mean the native tribes (i.e. native Indian nations of Canada) or the Franco-Canadians of Quebec or only the offsprings of the white Anglo-Saxon protestant immigrants of the 17th century, Mr. Stereotype?
