Ex. N. Korean soldier nabbed after escaping during sex trial

UTSUNOMIYA — A former North Korean soldier escaped from custody Monday while on trial for allegedly molesting a Japanese high school girl, but he was recaptured soon afterwards following a police search.

A prison detention center in Utunomiya alerted police at about 10:10 a.m. on Monday that the former soldier, Min Hong Gu, 41, was on the lam.

Police launched a search for Min and found him hiding in a bus stopped at a parking area on the Tohoku Expressway about 50 minutes later. He was immediately slapped with a fresh arrest for fleeing from custody.

What did he do, you might ask?

Min is accused of molesting a high school girl, touching her breasts at a department store in Utsunomiya on April 25 last year. He was arrested after being spotted in another department store.

I guess you don’t get to cop too many feels in the DPRK.

He used my japanguy junkmail address to sucribe my to a porn site and I guess the did not realise that it would give his IP away.

I really do not understand his self hate handle, though.

This is the log of his copy/pasting the comment at Oranckay’s. Same IP. This is not Looksie-Poo, who is an adept of anonymous proxies (and prosties?). Welcome to the real world, boyo…

Hmmm. Seems like I have been a victim of my own ignorance. I actually was na??ve enough (a while back) to believe the moron was using his/her own email address. Must have been the lack of kimchi in my diet, eh wot? Let me apologize for that…

Next: Please send the offending poster to Texas after you catch them. We have places for him/her to spend some time contemplating where they went wrong. And they can learn in intimate detail the meaning of such exciting phrases as “?징por favor, no mas!”…

Somebody call a doctor and get shin jong il back on his meds. His even more vile “lux-bearer” personality has taken over again. I thought they had cut off internet access for schizophrenia wing patients with ties to Korea after the tragedy of Dec 19, 2002.

Thanks for the info, dda. I used ot chum around with a Chiedf Inspector of the KNP in Seoul a few years ago. I spoke to him and he said he would investigate. Apparently the anti-Spam squad is quite active in Korea.

    Marmot,

Maybe you were tired wehen you posted this. If you go back and read again, judging by the place names and the fact that he was busted (no pun intended) for feeling a Japanese girl’s breasts, this didn’t happen in DPRK, but in Japan.

…Or, are you comparing the two– copping feels in the DPRK vs. Japan?

    Never mind….

The sadest part of this tale is that he ended up commiting suicide in his holding cell not long after his recapture. He hung himself with the sheet provided to him by the Utsunimiya Police.
He also left a letter apoligizing for his actions.
Poor bastard, rather kill himself than be deported back to the DPRK!
