Royal Succession, DPRK-style

For those with an interest in North Korea’s royal family, I direct you to this piece in the Asia Times discussing the problems, rumors, and other fun stuff concerning who comes next after Kim Jong-il. It’s a long but fascinating read, so if you’ve got a couple of minutes to spare, check it out.

Speaking of royal succession, here is an interesting article from last year on royal succession in South Korea.

Thanks for the great link. I’ve been reading everything I can on Kim Jong-il and want to see how smoothly the DPRK will deal with a change in leadership. I’m waiting for a few senior generals to step forward and rule the DPRK themselves. Sort of learn from their cousins south of the DMZ.
