Oranckay -- although I'll be staying here in Kwangju -- for the next four days, the largest city in Korea -- this holiday season, you have to be impressed by the roads up to Seoul. Not a friggin' car on them, and meanwhile, on the otherside of the road, traffic is at a standstill from Seoul to Taejeon. It's really something to behold.

Hooray to Mr Kimchipig: we think along the same lines!
Of course, since my inlaws, while very jibangish by birth, live 5 minutes from our place, I will indulge in a trek to their place and gorge on good food...
Let the ch'onnom deal with the nouveaux riches for 5 days...

Well, Mrs Kimchipig, the Piglets and myself are staying put for the next five days. Put in plenty of supplies, beer and DVDs for the holiday. Nobody is going to see us on the road this week for sure!

Like dude, being in the jibang, you do have to deal with all that. Where you you think all those people are going, anyway? Vacation in Bali? Brace yourself, the population in Gwangju is about to double for the next few days.

Seoul is at its best on Seol and Chuseok.
