The USS Pueblo, a US Navy spy ship, photographed by South Korean reporters visiting Pyongyang during the South and North Korean economic talks held from Dec. 17 to 20. North Korea seized the Pueblo in 1968. Since October 1999, the ship has been exhibited on the Daedong River.
Let me take this opportunity to introduce one of my favorite all time sites, USS Pueblo.org, sponsored by the USS Pueblo Veteran’s Association. I’ll tell you, there are some stories on that site which no self-respecting Cold War / Korean affairs buff should miss.
