Snow in Kwangju

first_snow.jpg

We’ve been in the midst of a Siberian cold front for the last couple of days, with snow being a welcome fringe benefit of the sub-zero temperatures. Anyway, I shot this photo of the frozen, snow-covered rice paddies and mountains just in back of my place at Kwangju University. Kind of nice, ain’t it?

One can do wonders with Adobe Photoshop! How many car accidents did the white dust cause?

Heh, I was thinking the same thing as Infidel, wondering if the skiff of snow brought the city to a standstill.

Oh.. You’re now staying near my hometown.
    Actually I spent 3 years(during my high-school time) in Kwang-Ju.
Usually, Kwang-Ju doesn’t have much snow compared to the north part of korea because it’s a little warm compared to other northern city in Korea.

    Anyway, nice blogs.

Yeah, I was a little surprised by just how cold things got here. Kwangju is relatively warm, but for the last couple of days, it’s been freezing.

Oh, and BTW, you got a cool blog in the works, too, widerock.
