OUTRAGE!!!

dollar_girlChina’s official news agency Xinhua (!) ran a whole gallery of “amazing coloured paintings on human bodies,” including the photo seen (appropriately) on the left. Now, is it just me, or is that a sacred symbol of the American nation - a symbol which includes a portrait of the father of American independence and our first president - being desecrated by God-less Communists in a lewd display of socialism’s moral depravity? I, for one, am truly outraged by Chinese insensitivity toward our national emblems, and demand not only statements of apology from the entire Chinese nation (that’s right, all 1 billion + of ‘em - signed and sent to Kwangju University), but a pledge from Chinese leaders never to repeat a brazen act of cultural arrogance such as this, an act that has deeply wounded the national pride of 292,810,076 (as of 2/12/2003 at 9:38:42 AM EST) Americans and threatens to sink Sino-American relations to their lowest ebb since the Korean War.

Barring this, a simple promise to use a girl with a bigger rack would suffice.

(Don’t blame me, blame Brainysmurf)

PS: Yeah, I’m joking about the outrage, although I really am offended by this monstrosity that will apparently blight the lower Manhattan skyline for decades to come. That being said, if you read this post by Adam, and this post by Andres Gentry, you might notice that some other nations have somewhat less of a sense of humor as far as these things are concerned.

I thought they were trying to get Reagan on the dime, not Bush on the dollar.
