I love little pieces of history like this - this postcard (click it for full-sized version) is courtesy the Chosun Ilbo’s English edition:
“A tourist postcard (top) with pictures the Chosun Hotel and Gwanghwamun published by the Office of Railroads in 1910s, (center) a postcard depicting ‘kisaeng,’ or professional female entertainer during the Japanese colonial era, and a postcard of Gwanghwamun in 1927. The museum of the University of Seoul holds an exhibition titled “Postcards in the modern age.” The exhibition will run until June 30, 2004.”
