There are times I truly wonder which Korea - North or South - will implode first. South Korean politicians are simply an embarrassment to what is, in most other respects, a fine nation. Yesterday, we have President Noh offering to resign - again - if his party spent more than a tenth of illegal campaign funds spent by the opposition Grand National Party. And the screwed up thing is, he probably didn’t - today, you have former GNP presidential candidate Lee Hoi-chang apologizing to the nation for his party’s accepting of over 50 billion won in illegal campaign contributions from corporations. This, combined with current party head Choe “Chitler” Byeong-nyeol’s consistently juvenile behavior, has forced me to join hands with Hanchongnyeon and the North Koreans in calling for the disbanding of the GNP. Look, I’m a Wall Street Journal-reading Republican, but these clowns are a disgrace to all that is good and holy to honest right-wingers, and right now, they are nothing but the bane of the existence of Korean conservatism.
Forget Kim Jong-il - regime change begins at home.
