Just saw this piece over at OhMyNews… two activists from “Corea Peace Solidarity” just came back from Iraq. Among the many constructive things they had to say, they claim that the Korean medical and engineering corps in Iraq aren’t doing much good and that for Iraqis, “The most joyous news they hear is when American soldiers are killed by terror or in attacks.”
Amazing, these people.

Dear fellow Marmot fans:
I’m the last one to talk when it comes to coherency, but I think this:
they claim that the Korean medical and engineering corps in Iraq aren’t doing much good and that for Iraqis, “The most joyous news they hear is when American soldiers are killed by terror or in attacks.”
…might, if you read too fast, be misunderstood to mean that it is the two activists who found news of Americans dying to be “the best news the Iraqis got to hear,” when it’s more that the Iraqis seemed “the most joyous” at news of such attacks.
And while it’s not like I think much better of them, for what it’s worth they do say that “an extreme few” Iraqis did tell them that it would be helpful to them if Korea sent more troops.
The comments left at that article are so far equally unimpressive.
Wish they’d concentrate on changing the country’s spelling to Corea.
These guys are trying to push our buttons. They’ll need to get in line. Next…
