- Over at Infidelworld, Joseph has been posting some really good stuff the last couple of days, and I suggest you check it all out. Start with this post and work your way down.
- I should have linked to this post earlier, but check out Flying Yangban’s commentary on the Gaeseong Industrial Complex project.
- Jeff’s commentary on some of yesterday’s English-language press pieces is both disturbing and amusing.
Also, as he has posted on his blog, Jeff’s mother is in the hospital, and he asks praying-types to offer a couple of prayers for her. Readers may wish to visit the link above and offer some words of support.
- Kevin of IA tell Samsung Lion’s 1st baseman Lee Seung-yeop to shut the hell up after the slugger bitched in Good Day Sports about ESPN’s lack of respect for both him and Korean baseball.
- It has been up for a while, but if you haven’t seen it yet, check out some of the “art work” in Brian’s post on American short track skater Apolo Ohno over at Cathartidae.
- Over at Korea Sojourning, the Sojourner has two unlinkable (!) posts (move your blog, dude) on American Fortitude and an idea for Iraq.
- Check out (the second installment of) what’s in Shawn’s fridge.
- I recently discovered this Korea-based blog maintained by a guy working over at POSTECH in Pohang - he’s got some good material to read, so check it out.

What is a good - free - blog space?
I might eventually move to a paid one, but not right now.
My next investment for the computer will either be a new graphics card
I’ve been wanting badly and/or a good webdesign program for the anti-USFK
newsletter, and I’m still thinking about renting my own server space
for the newsletter.
I started blogging, first because I found the insights from the other
blogs useful and a way to keep up with Korea now that I’m out, and second
as a way to put my own thoughts on issues beyond the narrow focus of the
newsletter - which I try not to stray away from on it.
Blogspot and Blog-City have free services, and either one of them would be a MAJOR improvement over what you have now. Right now, I’d go with Blogspot - I like Blog-city, but it’s down half the time. With Blogspot, you’d have to add a commenting system on your own (also free), and if you need help with that, just let me know.
In case you actually want to spend money on this hobby, then the only way to go (as far as I am concerned) is Typepad.
