"Moonmu The Great"
"No-Dong" Missiles.

The Noko's continue to be great comic relief in today's ( not so very screwed up, think 1973 ) "screwed up"world.

Tony - I'm not sure if these babies are built to counter the JMSDF, but the three Aegis-guided KDX-IIIs that should be rolling off the dockyards in 2008 are definately being built with a certain island neighbor in mind.

Still, I'm willing to bet the KDX-II's better than anything the PLAN's got in their blue water inventory.

More info at GlobalSecurity.org. The KDX-II may be armed with a 150 km antiship cruise missile developed in the ROK.

Betcha this ship class will be capable of mixing it up with the JMSDF. :)

Regards,
Tony

This is most definetly a stealth-ship, "stealthing" a millitairy ship mainly consist of removing junk that is hanging of the ship such as: life boats, loading cranes and antennae or covering these items with plating and making the retratable. Dont expect this ship to be invisible to radar though, the radar-signature for a ship like this will be about the size of a fishing-boat.

Good work keeping up a blog on the Noko's!
