What’s it say? I can’t read it, on account of the fact that I left my reading glasses at home.
Two letters from the daughters of some labor union head written to him before he hung himself from a crane to protest management’s refusal to talk with him.
How come many of us who are close to pinkos (isn’t that the US term?)
at home become fascistoid conservatives when it comes to Korea?
That’s the feeling I get of myself sometimes.
But let’s turn back to Ohmynews that many of us let take on our blood pressure.
“Portrait of three intellectuals who’ve been to the North” goes the
headline of article on the front page today.
Perhaps it’s the fact that the writer is an actual journalist that
the article seems to be attempting towards balance.
The writer is pretty critical towards Song D-y, much more than an
average Ohmy reader would wish: “as if peeling an onion, downfalling from
a dignified philosopher to a petty opportunist” (????흸흸????짠? ?짼??짼짢?짠???? ?쨀??쨀???흹 ?짼????????????흹 ??◑??졙??흹 ?쨍째??흸??쩌???????징흹 ?????쩍??흹 ?짧짢???).

So let’s give Ohmy some due…
Look, I give OhMyNews more than its fair share of “due” - I cite them all the time, and frankly, I do appreciate the very unique way in which they’ll cover a story. But they “wave the bloody flag” all the time, and because of the way in which they go about their business, it’s hard to tell what’s fact and what’s editorializing.
