Camouflage - not just for the military any more:
Police were tightening security around major U.S. military installations yesterday after receiving reports that students may try to enter the places to hold rallies protesting the troop dispatch to Iraq by disguising themselves as office workers or tourists.
The students planned to wear suits to avoid police detection or attach stickers saying “Visiting Korea” to make them look like Japanese tourists, police said.
Same article, a little later:
“It is very difficult to distinguish them from ordinary citizens if they wear suits,” a police officer said. “These kind of rallies are mostly carried out in small groups. We are dispatching more riot police because it is obviously illegal to demonstrate in and around foreign missions.”
The police remarks come after eight students disguised as Japanese tourists staged a demonstration in front of the presidential office of Chong Wa Dae Sunday. All were detained at the scene.
Whoever said Korean students lack creativity?
