<description>Didn't do anything special to that pic - I think it's just the camera lense that does it. Strangely enough, I didn't notice anything strange about it until you mentioned it, but now that I take a look at it again, it does look rather trippy.

BTW, glad you like the new look. Figure I'd give the Stalinist chic a break while paying tribute to some of Seoul Metro's finest. I think I got the header from an OhMyNews piece on the Daewoo strike. You want to see something fucked up, though - check out the riot cops' mascot, best displayed on the homepage of the 2nd Regiment of the Kangwon Provincial Riot Police.

Also, if you're interested, the Seoul Special Mobile Police - baddest of the badasses - have a couple of action shots over at their page.

<description>I see your website has a new hairdo. Very nice.

Wanted to comment on the new picture-- the small one on the right that, when you hover your cursor over it, says "My Photo."

Did you distort that photo somehow? The person in the raspberry coat (man? woman?) seems to be WAY smaller than the riot policeman s/he is hugging. The "shim's" arms seem disproportionately long, and his/her head seems far smaller than that of the riot policeman, too. How'd you do that? It's kinda cool, and if I were into getting high, this is probably the kind of pic I'd like to stare at while tripping.

Could it be the shape of the camera lens that's creating this effect?

Whoa.
