I thought it was just okay; it hasn't really compelled me to seek out any other of Kim Ki-duk's films. I had the opportunity to see Bad Guy recently and passed it up.

Like I said, I like the movie. But ugly is hardly the word to describe those fish hook scenes.

Sounds ugly enouhg to give me nightmares already. I shall pass... But I recommend "softer" (well, everything is relative) movies.

Kim Ki-duk's movies are hard. Very. But usually touch up some ugly and best-kept hidden corner of society. ?????쨈, ?????흹 ??짢??? are some of my favourites. Cho Jae-Hyun is a fantastic actor, too. I don't like horror movies, so I haven't seen ???, but I recognized his style. The "I am not speaking" thing was also used in Napp?짯n namja. Freakish.
