Russia vs. China

Prince Roy attempts to explain why China has developed while post-Soviet Russia has not in his critique of Nick Kristof’s last column in the NYT. I have my reservations concerning a number of Prince Roy’s assertions (check his comments section), but it’s a brilliant critique nevertheless - certainly one of the most interesting things I’ve read today.
